The International Farm Management Association is a society of people who are involved directly or indirectly in the agricultural process and who have an interest in agricultures in other parts of the world than their own.
This includes the whole spectrum of individual and corporate producers, managers, advisors, consultants, extension workers, researchers, teachers, policy-makers, suppliers, farming and marketing organizations and agribusiness companies associated with agriculture, horticulture and rural enterprise. Currently the Association has members in over 50 countries.
IFMA holds a week long congress every other year in a different country, and co-produces the International Journal of Agricultural Management (IJAM). The IFMA website carries the proceedings of congresses which are freely available to all visitors.
