Once more BOAT will be rebuilding a vintage tractor to be raffled off. The rebuild by Bicton College students and staff will take place as usual on the Bicton College Stand at the Devon County Show starting on Thursday 22nd May.
The tractor this year is a 1962 Massey Ferguson 35 straight petrol tractor which was apparently imported from Germany. As a consequence she has been named GRETEL. The tractor was sold at Cheffin’s Auction a few years ago to Tractor and Machinery (Kelsey Publishing) who have kindly donated it to BOAT.
We are grateful to the Principal of Bicton College, David Henley, and staff at the College , for offering to take on the management of this important source of revenue to BOAT this year.

The draw will take place at 2.30pm on Sunday 9th November 2014 at the Newark Vintage Tractor and Heritage Show, Newark Showground, Winthorpe, Newark.
